Monumental: Skiing Our National Parks Book

A ski film unlike any other, Monumental: Skiing Our National Parks celebrates the 100th anniversary of the National Park Service by paying homage to these monuments of nature and solitude, reminding us skiers where we came from, and that we belong to something greater than ourselves. Follow contemporary explorers through the lens of KGB Productions with skiers Andy Mahre, Lynsey Dyer, Griffin Post, Colter Hinchliffe, Kalen Thorien, Greg Hill, Max Hammer, and Connery Lundin at Yellowstone National Park, Yosemite National Park, Grand Teton National Park, Glacier National Park, and Olympic National Park.

The accompanying coffee table book features 139 pages of imagery taken during the filming of Monumental. This one's definitely on Alps & Meters Founder Lou Joseph's list.

Alps & Meters Alpine Winter Trouser

You've never seen a ski pant like this. When we were designing the Alpine Winter Trouser, we fell in love with vintage images of gentlemen skiing in wool trousers in the 1950s, so we sought to make a fully functional ski pant that could handle any conditions, all while looking like a well-tailored menswear staple.

This pant will keep you warm and dry on the first chair and in the deepest snow, all while turning heads on the mountain and around town.

Hestra Wakayama Glove

Hestra gloves have been the gold standard for serious freeskiers, guides and alpine enthusiasts for a while, building beautiful leather gloves that are simple, durable and stylish. The Wakayama is certainly no exception - it's a rugged cowhide glove with a wool lining to keep you warm.

We love the little details that really bring this glove to life: The two-tone back of the hand/palm, the contrast stitching around the fingers and the paracord string around the wrist.

Alpine Hooded Vest

Constructed with high touch craftsmanship and a tailored combination of natural fabrics, protective full grain leathers, and contemporary technologies, the Alpine Hooded Vest offers warmth and protection to alpine sport enthusiasts on and off the mountain.

Darn Tough Hojo Ski Socks

Hands down, the best ski socks out there...This versatile, all-mountain performance sock has the perfect amount of cushioning along the bottom of the foot for extra support and comfort. Over-The-Calf height is ideal for skiing in deep conditions while fine gauge Merino Wool provides legendary warmth without the bulk. And since Merino Wool is naturally antimicrobial this sock repels bacteria and odor. If only everything in life was this simple. Still made in Vermont. Guaranteed for life.

Restored FJ Cruiser from the FJ Company

Juan, Jaime, and Nelson Caille set out to restore their grandfather's 1982 Toyota FJ40 when he passed away. Growing up, they had fond memories of bouncing about in the back of the 4x4 every weekend for family road trips. The guys enjoyed the process (and the finished project) so much, that they launched a dedicated FJ restoration business in Miami. Widely considered the best in the country. FJ Company rigs start around 55K and go upwards from there. It's a pipe dream, for sure, but worth drooling over if you have five minutes to design your custom cruiser.
